I had a 2 storey extension on my semi detached house in February 2019.I have to say I was taken by how professional the team were.Very friendly and considerate of your home.Hard working.Gave lots of suggestions for improvements and creative.Reliable, came every day on time.Excellent communication always involved you in the decisions.Checking things out with you first.The price was very competitive with other builders.No hidden agenda.I couldn't wish for better builders.I am over the moon with my extension.it's exceeded my expectations.Thank you guys.

We recently purchased a run down Grade II listed building which needed full renovation work to turn into a family home. We hired Andy and his team as we had heard excellent reviews about Sheppard Builders... The team knocked through to provide bifold doors out to the garden, built a double height chimney stack as a kitchen feature, built a mezzanine level into one of the main rooms to create a library. Also knocked through from the kitchen into the existing hallway and knocked into the chimney to create a wonderful feature fireplace in the drawing room. I cannot recommend them highly enough, complete professionalism from start to finish. They offered a very competitive rate with all works completed within time. Most importantly for me was they tidied up after themselves after each day, which is very important when you are also living there! Happy to personally reference anyone considering this company.

Andy and team built us a small single storey extension. Andy kept us informed and consulted us when decisions needed to be made. He kept us updated re progress and on what was going to happen next. The work is to a high standard and we are xtemely happy with the final build, a great job. We would readily recommend Andy and the team. Thanks Andy.

Andy, Tim and the team built us a 2 storey extension and loft conversion affecting all but 3 rooms in our home. They have been excellent. The quote was clear, the work moves to schedule and the consideration to our family needs whilst living in the middle of it all, was superb. They watched out for our three kids and involved them (safely) in as much as possible, saving certain activities for after school. They have been flexible, turned up every day, and taken cate of us and our project.

Sheppard Builders have recently constructed a new frontage to our Edwardian Villa, replacing 1950s bays and porch. We’re really pleased with the quality of their work – they’ve achieved a great finish, and have worked hard to get the detailing right. Andy, Tim and their team communicated really well with us throughout the process, and made great efforts to minimise the mess and disruption in our house, and to ensure it remained weather tight and secure. We’d have no hesitation to recommend them – we’ll certainly be having them back for other work.

Andy, Tim and the team worked on a loft conversion for us due to an unexpected new family member arriving. They were flexible and completed the structural steel work, stairs, velux windows and flooring leaving us to finish off as a DIY project as requested. The work was completed in a timely fashion to a high standard passing building control. Competitive pricing, would highly recommend and use again.

We can't speak highly enough of Andy and his team. From the moment he quoted us for our extension, he and his team were punctual, friendly, hard working and trustworthy. We felt his building work was of an excellent quality and he really cared about what his work looked like. He used great tradespeople on our project. We'll be using him for any future projects we have.

Andrew and the team worked on our home extension for around 4 months and were a genuine pleasure to have around. Their communication was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. They genuinely cared for the project and were flexible and understating to our needs.The flat roof extension was modern with bi fold doors and a glass roof, but built in a conservation area so constructed from stone.
